With the 5th snow day being called by the Boise/West Ada/Kuna School Districts The Boys & Girls Club of Ada County has tried their best to stay open for members to have a positive, safe place while schools are closed.

The inclement weather has made the Moseley Center’s parking lot and grounds a winter wonderland filled high with snow, slush, and water. Managing all this weather has been tough and a lot of hands have been needed to get the job done adequately. With teens eager to assist and shovels abundant, walkways were shoveled, drains were cleared, and puddles were tended to–all while having fun! Seeing members willing to extend a helping hand, asking for nothing in return, and doing so with a great attitude makes a laborious day complete.

We are so grateful for the staff and teens who have worked so hard for several days now to maintain a positive attitude despite the inclement weather. It seems as though Mother Nature really has it out for the Treasure Valley. The Boys & Girls Club of Ada County will do their best to continue to serve members from 7am-6pm if schools declare another snow day.
