On Sunday, September 16, staff members from the Club had a blast volunteering together at Dennis Dillon’s 35th Annual Eagle Hills Charity Classic Golf Tournament. 100% of the proceeds from this charity golf tournament benefits the Boys & Girls Clubs of Ada County and Idaho Humane Society.
Hannibal Miksis, Youth Development Professional from the Moseley Center, had an especially great time: “Working the golf tournament was definitely one of the most fun times I have had in a while. Danny, our Nutrition Director, and I were paired up and worked at Hole 14 which was a Par 3. We stayed there for the duration of the tournament and ran the fun game that was at the hole. It was really cool to interact with all the golfers, see how they played, and thank them for contributing to a good cause. When the tournament was over, we were all invited to have brunch with the golfers and hear a few words from Dennis Dillon himself. He praised everyone for coming out and he spoke very highly of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Ada County. Hearing a business giant like Mr. Dillon say tremendous things about the place I work made me even more proud to be working for such a great organization. This was a memorable experience and I am happy to have opportunities like this because of my work.”
