We are so thankful for our community partners at Together Treasure Valley and Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area for giving hundreds of our members such an amazing experience! Together Treasure Valley is funding educational field trips that are an extraordinary opportunity for our kids:
On Aug. 2, 250 of our kids, ages 8-14, had a blast defying gravity on the bungee trampolines, rock climbing, summer tubing, gem panning, and more. Our kids were absolutely thrilled and we can’t wait to bring more of them up to Bogus!
On Aug. 21, a solar eclipse will cross the state of Idaho, and 40 of our teens will head to Bogus for its great vantage point. The teens will learn about this rare phenomenon and how to safely view a solar eclipse as they watch the eclipse.
Finally, on Oct. 6, a final group of 150 kids school age kids will head to the mountain – to ride the new Mountain Coaster! While there’s no school that day, these kids will be learning a lot — about Bogus, about nature and more. In addition, the kids will get to experience Bogus’ new Fun Zone activities, have lunch, and get commemorative t-shirts and drawstring backpacks.
