Year 1

Our Year 1 program serves children enrolled in half day Kindergarten each school day during the morning or afternoon half of the day when they are not in school.

Regular School Day

Sunrise Club (Included in Cost)
7:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.

Year 1 AM
9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Year 1 PM
12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

No School Days

Early Risers (Included in Cost)
7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Transportation is free to and from the following schools:

Anser Charter
Koelsch Elementary
Lowell Elementary
Taft Elementary
Whittier Elementary

For all other schools, transportation must be arranged by guardian.

Shannon is our Year 1 Lead Coordinator for our Moseley Center location. She grew up here in Boise and graduated from Boise State University with my BAS in Psychology, and a minor in Family Studies. She has worked with children professionally for 2 years and loves being a part of the Boys & Girls Club team. She likes to travel, but loves Boise because it offers her the opportunity to explore.

Stephanie is the Year 1 Lead Coordinator for our Meridian location. She has a BAS in Early Childhood Development and has worked for Boys & Girls Clubs for a little over 7 years filling a variety of roles. She absolutely loves working with the kids and families we serve and is proud to contribute to making the Boys & Girls Club the positive place for kids!
